PERSONAL BIO
Jim Shukys got his start in the auto repair
industry at the young age of 16, as a full
service Island Attendant at a Sohio Auto Repair
facility. Anyone who remembers the old Sohio
stations knows customer service was the number
one priority. He quickly advanced to the
position of Auto Mechanic, where he became ASE
certified. All the while, he cultivated a
following of loyal customers who appreciated his
honesty and sincere dedication to good
old-fashioned customer service. After working
for 7 years as a technician for a small repair
shop in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, Jim got an
opportunity to manage a repair shop in Aurora,
Ohio. Many of his old customers followed him to
Aurora. After 5 successful years in Aurora, Jim
decided it was time to open his own facility and
was fortunate enough to find a chance in
Streetsboro, where his shop remains to this day.
He has also retained a number of customers from
that shop in Chagrin Falls, which is almost 20
miles away.

Jimyz Automotive opened its doors in May of 2000. Jimyz is a full service repair facility. If you have a problem with your car or truck, chances are pretty good it can be fixed here, no matter what it is. Jimyz has been a Napa Auto Care Center since 2003. By teaming up with Napa, Jimyz can offer financing and
warranty coverage that is as good as if not better than chain automotive repair shops.
Jimyz has updated equipment to satisfy all of your automotive needs. We offer fluid exchange services for all of the fluids your car uses. Although Jimyz can provide you with a number of services, we specialize in particular on one: customer service! You will always get a smile and a hello at Jimyz. We will bend over backwards to make sure you understand what we are recommending and why we are recommending it. We never do repairs on your car without your consent, and we stand behind our repairs 100%. You can rest assured if there is a problem with any repairs we have made, we will make it a top priority to rectify the situation.
Jimyz also offers a free loaner vehicle if you cannot arrange for transportation while your car is being serviced. Once we have you in our database, we will automatically notify you by mail when you are due for service so you don't have to worry about it.
