Its no secret the economy has had an effect on the majority of us, in one way or another. People are finding it harder and harder to make ends meet. The local economy and my friends have been good to me over the last 10 years and I'm always looking for ways to give something back to those who have been there for me.
Recently, a local banker told me about a lady who ran a small non profit business dedicated to getting food and
miscellaneous supplies to local families who are truly in need. After a bit of research, I decided to contact her and offer her my repair services for her delivery van, should she need anything. To my amazement, she turned down any attempts at offering her FREE service! She said she would not feel right accepting that from me. I did get an opportunity to talk with her at length, her name is Malinda Davis, and
I was truly fascinated with her story. In short, she dedicates all of her time to helping others at the expense of any personal life whatsoever.
I have come up with a way to try to help Malinda and I am asking for your help.
I currently sell Jimyz Automotive shirts for $15, and if you purchase one of my shirts, I will donate all of the profits to
Malinda's organization, the Streetsboro Christian Cupboard, Inc. I make about $6 profit on one shirt. If you think that doesn't sound like it will make that much of a difference, Malinda says she can literally buy a full cargo van packed with food for about $5!!
And since you are helping me by advertising my business, I have a second part of this plan that will involve putting money back into your pocket in the future. You will have to stay tuned for details!
I know this is a long read, and I want to thank you for your time.
If you wish to make direct donations to the Streetsboro Christian Cupboard, please call 330 626-3244. As for buying a t-shirt, you can call me at 330 626-1198. cash, checks and credit cards are welcome. Thanks again and have a great day!!
